The role of Costavy

Costavy is a comparison and contact platform for building and renovation projects. You describe a project, we check the request and look for suitable companies. Supply depends on service, area and availability; no number of quotes, outcome or job is guaranteed.

You agree the execution of work with the chosen contractor. Costavy does not carry out the work. Check scope, price, VAT, timing, insurance and contractor terms before agreeing. Your statutory consumer rights remain applicable.

How companies are presented

Selection considers service, operating area, capacity and required business checks. Up to three premium partners may appear first among eligible companies. Premium is commercial visibility, not a guarantee of quality or lowest price. Preferred companies must meet the same eligibility checks.

You choose which companies to invite. Contact fields are shared only for the fields and purposes you authorize. Use other people’s information only for the relevant request.

Accounts and use

Provide accurate details and represent only a business you are authorized to represent. Protect your credentials. Deception, spam, harassment, prohibited content and bypassing access or consent are not allowed. Share only files and images you have sufficient rights to use.

Contact [email protected] about accounts or complaints. Include a reference and brief description without unnecessary personal data. We examine the relevant information and allow the parties to explain their position.

Professional connection prices

Consumers do not pay Costavy to submit a request. The price and conditions of a professional connection are displayed before acceptance. A welcome benefit applies only when explicitly granted to the company.

A connection opens after customer approval, company acceptance and final checks. Failure before opening releases the reservation. An opened connection does not guarantee a job. Report disputes to [email protected]; an approved reversal restores the original funding, either wallet funds or the benefit used.

Access and complaints

Access may be restricted for abuse, a security incident, missing verification or a legal requirement. We provide a reason and information on review unless law or security temporarily prevents this. Request an explanation or reconsideration at [email protected].

Changes affecting your rights or obligations receive the applicable notice before taking effect. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights. Belgian law applies without prejudice to mandatory protection in your country of residence. The courts competent under law remain competent.

Changes to Pro terms receive at least 15 days’ prior notice unless a legal exception applies. Companies access their own records and only the customer fields released for their connection, never another company’s records. Costavy does not itself offer contracting work.
